On the two connected lumber sorting and bundling lines of Springer, the lumber is sorted separately into main goods and side goods. The following photos document the process from sorting to the finished package.
The sawn timber is inspected from both sides
and classified by specially trained personnel according to sorting criteria.
The individual boards are sorted fully automatically according to quality and
length and are assigned to the according package tray.
The packaging system automatically bundles everything into one package.

Furthermore, we have the possibility to treat the side goods against blue stain by means of continuous impregnation.
The sorting of the main goods we is done on both sides by using two sorting machines which classify the sawn timber.
Sorting into the respective package compartment is again fully automatic.
At the bundling line, the lumber is precisely trimmed and bundled into packages.
