The round timber purchase takes place in Austria and the eastern neighbouring countries, but in order to avoid long transport routes, we try to obtain about 90% of the round timber from a radius of 100 km.

Only sections in 4 and 5 m are processed, but long timber can also be delivered after consultation.

Each round timber delivery is taken over on one of the two round timber sorting plants. Our calibrated 3-D measurement is declared according to ÖNORM L1021.

Through digital trunk photography, we guarantee every supplier a complete follow-up inspection of our round wood sorting. The images are digitally archived and remain stored for 3 months.

This gives our suppliers an insight into our takeover and ensures appropriate transparency. Through consistent purchasing areas, precise sorting and constant quality control, we achieve a consistently high quality of our sawn timber.
